The legend of Calamity Jane Kickstarter
Along time ago in the far off land of 1997 on Kids WB there was an action cartoon staring a tough as nails badass cowgirl based on the real life legend Calamity Jane. As show that did not talk down to its audience and dealt with themes of racism, sexism and even murder on top of having a smooth opening theme Unfortunately it had a short window to be viewed as it never finished it’s official airing in most parts of the world, leaving only a short few of people who remember to look for recordings on YouTube to watch the episodes. But you can’t keep a legend gone forever as now, for the 25th anniversary there is a chance for Calamity Jane to get the recognition she deserves and have her story available for a whole new generation, for fans young and old. A Kickstarter to bring the legend of Calamity Jane to DVD dropped a week ago and it’s already half to it’s goal! I’m here to spread the word and inform fans that they have a chance to enjoy this amazing show the way it was always
